The moment took place during a traditional Survivor Series match between Team Cena (John Cena, Big Show, Erick Rowan, Ryback and Dolph Ziggler) and Team Authority (Money in the Bank winner Seth Rollins, Kane, U.S Champion Rusev, Mark Henry and Intercontinental Champion Luke Harper).
Ziggler single handedly won the match for his team as he eliminated Rollins, Kane and Harper.
Sting made his debut when the match was down to Ziggler and Rollins fighting for the victory. The former WCW made his debut and delivered a Scorpion Death Drop to Triple H, who was managing his team.
The victory of Team Cena means that WWE COO Triple H, principle owner of the company Stephanie McMahon will not remain in power.
The Miz and Damien Sandow won the Tag Team Championship after defeating Goldust and Stardust, The Usos and Los Matadores in their Fatal 4 Way Tag Team Championship match.
Team Fox (Alicia Fox, Emma, Naomi and Natalya) defeated Team Paige (Paige, Cameron, Layla and Summer Rae) in their Survivor Series elimination match.
Bray Wyatt defeated Dean Ambrose in their singles match after the “Lunatic Fringe” was disqualified.
Nikki Bella beat AJ Lee to become the new WWE Divas Champion.
Jack Swagger defeated Cesaro whereas Fandango picked up the victory in his Singles match against Justin Gabriel.
