Yasir Shah climbs to second place in test rankings

Yasir Shah took eight wickets in the Dubai test match match to help Pakistan beat England by 178 runs.

South African pace spearhead Dale Steyn leads the test rankings for bowlers followed by Pakistan’s Yasir Shah and James Anderson of England.

English batsman leads the batsmen’s ranking while Australia’s Steve Smith and AB de Villiers are at second and third place respectively.

Younis Khan, who became Pakistan’s first test batsman to score 9,000 runs is placed at fifth spot.

South Africa is currently the top test team whereas Australia and England are at second and third place.

Pakistan and India are placed at fourth and fifth place in the rankings.
