Yo Yo Honey Singh means business in upcoming action flick 'Zorawar'

Yo Yo Honey Singh is one of the biggest entertainers in India and is feverishly popular among the younger generation. And it seems he’s intent on cashing that adulation by also starring in Bollywood flicks. The trailer for his upcoming movie Zorawar just released and it is certainly raising more than a few eyebrows.  

In the trailer, Yo Yo Honey Singh flexes his muscles and beats up quite a few nemesis single-handedly. Much like the action films of Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan, Singh inflicts much damage via combat sequences. Also, he has a couple of new songs up his sleeve which will be part of the movie.

Regarding the experience of shooting for the flick, the rapper detailed how difficult it was for him to essay a character on-screen, especially romantic scenes.

“The toughest thing that I had to do in this film was the 15-20 minutes of romance with Parul (Gulati). She would always wonder what happened to me. I wouldn’t understand how to do romance, I would get uncomfortable,” he said.

It was very difficult acting. I feel it is a very tough job to portray someone else’s character, and to behave like that on screen. When I had heard the story, I thought it was very interesting and that it was a very serious and intense drama, and there is action. I thought it would be difficult because good actors, Mukul (Dev) and Pawanji (Malhotra) are there,” he said.
