Youth to become burden, if not trained: Shehryar Khan Afridi

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Khan Afridi on Saturday said if youth were not trained they would become bane in the country, ARY News reported.

“The countries which consider themselves as the best, lack manpower. We have population but if they are not trained they will become burden for us,” Shehryar Khan Afridi said in a statement.

He said developed countries were doing research on everything, which was speciality of Muslims.

The minister said helplessness made one forget even his worth.

On April 4, Shehryar Khan Afridi had said that there was no room for any form of extremism in Pakistan.

Addressing the ambassadors’ gathering, Shehryar Khan Afridi had said that they were not only the envoys of Pakistan but the ambassadors of humanity.

The minister had said that those who were spreading sectarianism were enemies of the country and added that terrorism and extremism had no religion. He had said that all the institutions, government and the masses were on the same page against terrorists and added that no one could dictate them.

Shehryar Khan Afridi had said that the government had taken all the institutions and the opposition onboard on operation against the banned outfits.
