PESHAWAR: Former president Asif Ali Zardari on Monday alleged that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government wanted to deprive 200,000 people of jobs, ARY News reported.
“We condemn stripping people of jobs. We provided jobs to all and never snatched jobs from anybody. The party that portrays itself to be a justice (Insaf) party is doing injustice to people of this province,” he said addressing the Pakistan Peoples Party workers in Peshawar.
He said the Pakistan Peoples Party had fulfilled all its promises during its government. It would provide more jobs and before that it would launch a stipend-based youth skills development program to prepare masses for jobs, he added.

“We always care for our workers. We have old relation with KP. When we got a chance we gave Pakhtoons an identity and a constitution,” he said.
Zardari said the PPP wanted to do a lot more than it did in its tenure but the ANP government was a hurdle between development works in the KP.
KP and Balochistan should be the richest provinces of the country for they are rich in natural resources, he said.
“Bilawal (Bhutto Zardari) is being groomed,” he said then added as an afterthought that “in fact, it would not be wrong if I say that Bilawal has been groomed (in politics) more than me.”
