Both the leaders held a detailed discussion on the Senate elections due on March 5.
During the conversation, Imran Khan said that horse-trading is a stain on the face of politicians, adding, “The proposed 22nd Amendment will not only help preventing bargain in the Senate polls, but it will also prove to be a milestone for stable democracy in state”.
He suggested that the PPP should support positive initiatives of the government.
On this occasion, Asif Ali Zardari said that his party has always rendered sacrifices for democracy and it is determined for democratic stability as well.
