According to details, Asif Ali Zardari telephoned Sirajul Haq in the evening on Sunday. Both the party heads held discussion over the appointment of chairman and deputy chairman of the Senate.
During the conversation, both the leaders agreed upon continuing the democratic process and consultation over key appointments in the Senate.
Sources told that Asif Ali Zardari sought support from the JI emir regarding the appointment of chairman Senate.
