Former Pakistani cricket captain Imran Khan and Bollywood’s leading lady from the 1980s Zeenat Aman were alleged to have an affair back in the day. While Zeenat was known for her acting prowess and exotic looks, Imran Khan was famous for his skills as a cricketer. Imran’s speculated love affairs were many and with several high-profile women, Zeenat being no exception.
The actress was in Lahore for the Kya Dilli Kya Lahore event in the city and spoke to media personnel as well. When asked about her alleged affair with Imran Khan, Zeenat shrugged off the question altogether.
“Let us not discuss past. Now our children are grown up. Let it be in the past,” she said.
Zeenat Aman was all praises for Lahore and the warm welcome she had been accorded in the city as well.
“The city is beautiful and its people are loving. I wish I had visited Lahore earlier. I want to visit the old city (walled city). Many from Peshawar starred in our film industry and Lahore too was the hub of films before the Partition. I would like to see the entire city,” she said.
She also spoke of a movie her son had made in which a Pakistani television actor had starred.
“I will return to Pakistan upon its release. Give the children same love which you have given to me,” she stated.
