The execution of death row convict was postponed at eleventh hour for 3 days on presidential orders after his video statement in which he made shocking revelations and confessions about target killing and allegations on leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).

ARY News’ correspondent, Farooq Sami told that ATC is likely to issue fresh death warrant of triple murderer on Tuesday (March 24). He said execution must be carried within 7 days after the issuance of death warrants.
There were reports that the execution of death row prisoner Saulat Mirza will be postponed for a period of 30 days.
But Machh Jail authorities denying the reports said that they haven’t received any such orders from Interior Ministry.
Earlier, Saulat Mirza was scheduled to be executed on March 19 at 5:30 AM.
The authorities said that death warrant issued earlier has expired after postponement of Mirza’s execution adding that new date for the execution of Saulat Mirza would be fixed by honorable court one fresh death warrant issued.
