Cyclone Nilofar finds way in Sindh Assembly

KARACHI: Cyclone Nilofar apart of causing concern in common man also discussed in Sindh Assembly on Tuesday, ARY News reported.

The members of the provincial legislature expressed concern over weather reports about the Arabian Sea Cyclone’s likely landfall at Sindh coast and sought the government measures to ensure the safety of citizens in case of the eventuality.

Information Minister Sharjeel Memon informed the house on a question that the government has declared emergency in the coastal areas of the province.

Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani advised those fearing Cyclone Nilofar to go to the interior of Sindh.

Speaker said that Karachi will remain protected because of the holy presence of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi in the city.
