I support Imran Khan’s stance of reforms: Junaid Jamshed

KARACHI: Renowned preacher Junaid Jamshed on Friday said that he has not joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) but supports Imran Khan’s agenda of reforms and wants an end to the corrupt and oppressive system in the country, ARY News reported.

Responding to PML-N stalwart Khwaja Asif’s criticism of him, Junaid said that he has always shed tears over the corrupt system in Pakistan which oppresses the poor and empowers the corrupt and wealthy.

Talking to ARY News, he further said that even Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif want positive change in Pakistan and he has seen a video clip in which Chief Minister Punjab is accepting the fact that Judicial system needs reforms and there is enough room for improvement.

The singer turned preacher revealed that he is in contact with influential clerics and will surely do something to bring the much needed change in the country.

About Khwaja Asif’s criticism of him, he said that whatever Khwaja Asif said was right. One cannot only rely on a change in attire or change in profession to become a better individual but if the comment is directed towards him, he has forgiven Mr. Asif.
