Imran, PML-Q support military courts

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) on Wednesday announced their support for establishment of military courts to deal with terrorism cases, ARY News reported.

They made announcements in the Parliamentary Leaders meeting in Islamabad presided over by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. PML-Q leader Mushahid Hussain Syed said the PM must go ahead as all parties were standing behind him.

He informed that the US had established military courts and terrorists were hanged there. He said it was now time to take action instead of talks.

The PTI chief Imran Khan said his party also supported military courts.

He, however, stressed that time period for continuation of a case in military courts should be specified.
