ISIS wall chalking appears in Multan

MULTAN: Widely feared Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has started gaining foothold in Pakistan, as its wall-chalking recently appeared on a busy road of Multan, ARY News reported.

According to details, Islamic State wall-chalking appeared on an important and busy road of Multan on Wednesday. Unknown people carried out chalking in the dark of night, which indicates that the widely feared organization is spreading its tentacles in Pakistan.

The name of ISIS was already being heard in the north-western tribal region of Pakistan as well as in the border areas of the Balochistan province, recently the worship places of the Zikri community were attacked in Balochistan and the attacks were said to be waged by the militants affiliated with Islamic State.

Earlier, reports circulating on social media suggested that some groups affiliated with the outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) are also joining the ISIS. Former TTP spokesperson, Shahidullah Shahid and the local commanders of Hangu, Orakzai, Kurram and Khyber agencies were also said to have joined hands with ISIS.

It is said that the ISIS has got enormous financial resources, while at the same time it has sophisticated weaponry.

With ISIS getting active in Pakistan, the War on Terror on terror will take a new turn and is expected to be bloodier than ever.

Earlier, ISIS wall chalking was seen in parts of Karachi, Pakistan’s largest city and the financial hub of the country. The chalking was seen in and around Gulshan-e-Maymar, Sohrab Goth and Manghopir.
