According to details, an explosion took place in the sewerage line of the old building after which it came crashing down.
Sources said that the building was in a dilapidated condition and could not bear the impact of the explosion.
Rescue teams arrived at the scene and managed to recover two persons from the debris. Three others are feared to be trapped under the rubble.
The vehicles parked near the collapsed building were also damaged in the incident.
