Chief Minister of Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif has ordered an inquiry into the deaths of the mother and her children and directed concerned authorities to produce a report on the incident. According to details, Zubair, a resident of Farooq Ganj, went outside to run an errand. Meanwhile, the roof of his house collapsed and his wife, four children were killed as a result.
The name of Zubair’s deceased wife is Irum while his children Shayan, Umair, Abdul Rahman, Abdullah and Nimra also died due to the roof collapse. Zubair was consumed with immense grief upon seeing the dead bodies of his wife and children.
The foundation of the building had weakened due to a recent earthquake. Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif expressed his sorrow at the loss of life due to the accident and ordered an inquiry to ascertain as to how the roof collapsed.
