According to details, roof of a dilapidated triple-story building in Bhaati Chowk collapsed due to which two cousins Maryam aged 23 year, Mano aged two-and-a-half year and a laborer Khalid,30, were killed.
The laborer was busy in repair of the roof against seepage caused by recent rains.
Four others were injured due to the cave in of the roof, who were shifted to Mayo Hospital.
Locals accused that the casualties were caused by delay in arrival of rescue teams, while negligence on part of Walled City Authority was also a reason behind the incident.
The Walled City Authority is responsible of repair of aging buildings, they said.
