Qadri challenges PM Nawaz to issue his arrest orders

TOP NEWS

Addressing the participants of the sit-in at the D-Chowk Islamabad, Dr Tahirul Qadri said that the election commission has violated the constitution and suggested for the removal of article 62 and 63 from the constitution, so that the world may know that the parliamentarians of this country have no merit.

He asked PM Nawaz to issue his arrest orders if he has enough courage, adding, “Neither I  nor Imran Khan is going to be afraid of the arrests”.

The PAT chief said, “We will see whether the policemen are courageous or these revolutionaries. The government is not going to last more than 24 hours, if it arrested me”.

Dr Qadri said that the countries, one would not have even heard about, are progressing, while Bangladesh which was separated from Pakistan in 1971, is now ahead of us. He lamented that here the poverty rate, which used to be 35 percent, has now reached up to 50 percent.

He said that these rulers are intended to rob the remaining wealth of the country and move abroad, but this sit-in will prove to be the end of their misdeeds.

Dr Tahirul Qadri said, “A long-term revolution has begun, while a short-term revolution is about to take place in the country”.

He felicitated the participants of the sit-in, saying that you will be telling your coming generations that you were here in Islamabad, when a revolution was taking place in the country.

Moreover, Dr Tahirul Qadri demanded the government to release the arrested workers of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) at the earliest, or to be prepared for its aftermath.
