Ten wounded in Islamabad gas cylinder explosion

ISLAMABAD: At least 10 persons were reported injured in a gas cylinder explosion in Islamabad, ARY News reported.

According to rescue sources, a gas cylinder exploded inside a house located in Islamabad’s Sector G-9/2 area due to which 10 people including man, woman and three children were wounded.

A wall of the house was also damaged in the explosion.

The explosion was heard in the far flung areas of the federal capital.

Rescue teams arrived at the scene and shifted the blast victims to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for treatment of their injuries. Condition of two persons is said to be critical.
