Two dead as rival groups clash in Sargodha

SARGODHA: Firing between two rival groups left two people dead as Ashura procession was on its way in Sargodha on Tuesday, ARY News reported.

Army has taken control of the city after the unfortunate firing incident in Qasba Farooqa area which left two people dead and seven injured.

Extremist elements have a history of attacking Ashoora processions organized and attended by minority Shia community. Security agencies, police, army are put on high alert considering the volatile situation.
