Village burnt down in Ghotki district following clash

GHOTKI: Several houses of a village were reduced to ashes during clashes between two political groups here in Sindh’s Ghotki district, ARY News reports.

According to details, the activists of Pakistan Muslim League – Functional (PML-F) locked horns with the supporters of Mehar group as they were taking out a celebratory rally at Faqeer Mohammad Village in Ghotki.

A Mehar group activist was killed in the clash due to which the situation intensified. The infuriated workers set fire to many houses.

Police and Rangers arrived at the scene and surrounded the area after dispersing the mob.

It should be noted that more than 11 persons, majority of them PML-F workers, were killed in clashes with PPP activists in Khairpur.
