Dressed as guards with a cane in hand, two students of the Government Primary School Hayatabad are checking every student entering the school premises due to the non-availability of security guards in their institute.

An exclusive report by ARY News reporter Fayyaz Ahmed shows the miserable condition of the school which claims to educate 400 pupils.

One of the young ‘guards’ tells the reporter that their school has no watchman, no guard so they have to hold canes and check students as a watchman while a female student went to the extent of telling that their school has no Principal, and enough administrative staff and educators.

It must be noted that recently KPK chief minister Pervez Khattak said that it was difficult to provide security to all the schools unless the borders were sealed to prevent terrorist ingression.

Schools and other educational institutions were warned about security threats in the province which recently braced a deadly attack on the Army Public School in Peshawar, killing 149 people mostly children.
