Woman killed in Lahore roof collapse

According to details, the roof of the house located in Rachna Town area of Lahore came crashing down due to which a woman lost her life and three others sustained injuries. The wounded persons were shifted to a medical facility for treatment.

Meanwhile, heavy rains in the city caused power feeders in many parts of the city to break down. The affected areas that suffered power outages included New Campus, Ferozepur Road, Bandh Road, Gulshan Ravi, Ring Road, Shahdara, Begum Kot, Kot Khawaja Saeed, Baghbanpura, Batapur and Harbanspura.

Six vehicles were damaged when the wall of a police station collapsed in Sabzazar area of the historic city.
