In Spin Qabar area of Khyber tribal region 17 suspected militants were killed in fighting with security forces.
According to sources, terrorists attacked a security check post. The attack on the post was repulsed and the attackers fled from the scene leaving 17 dead bodies.

In another skirmish between security forces and militants in Chakdarra area of Lower Dir, a suspected militant was killed.
A suicide vest, hand grenade and explosives were found from the possession of the dead militant.
