More international players agree to play Pakistan Super League

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed names of 13 more international cricket stars who have signed up for Pakistan Super League 2018.

The star cricketers include South Africa’s Albie Morkel, West Indies’ Darren Bravo, Australia’s John Hastings, England’s James Vince, West Indies’ Jason Holder, New Zealand’s Luke Ronchi, England’s Tim Bresnan, England’s Adil Rashid, West Indies’ Lendl Simmons, New Zealand’s Mitchell McClenaghan, New Zealand’s Colin Munro, Bangladesh’s Mustafizur Rahman and South Africa’s Wayne Parnell.

                     

While, Australia’s fast bowler Mitchell Johnson and his compatriot and hard-hitting batsman Chris Lynn will also grace the star-studded event with their world-class performances.

                

Left-handed South Africa run-machine JP Duminy and his countryman Pakistani-origin googly bowler Imran Tahir have also consented to play the third edition of PSL.

                

While, former Sri Lanka skipper and robust allrounder Angelo Mathews, West Indies batsman Evin Lewis who boasts “I hit a lot of sixes” and Afghanistan’s rising star spin bowler Rashid Khan will also be part of the much anticipated national cricket league next year.

                          

                     

                     

The third edition of the Pakistan Super League will see the addition of Multan Sultans as the sixth team in the competition.

The addition of the sixth team will increase the number of games that will be played in the PSL 2018. The other PSL teams include Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi, Lahore Qalandars, Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United.

The previous two seasons of the PSL saw a sum total of 24 games played but this season, there will be 34 matches. Eight of those games during the league stage could be hosted in Pakistan.
