Reportedly, the makers of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ read the script to Rakesh Roshan and he was very keen for Hrithik to take up the project.
Yet, it seems the idea did not go well with Hrithik.

South Indian superstar Allu Arjun had to reject the film due to prior work commitments.
Aamir Khan
Although, Mr Perfectionist loved the script of Bajrangi Bhaijaan but Aamir had to reject it due to date issues.
Rajnikanth
Interestingly, Ranjnikanth rejected ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and chose to do ‘Linga’ instead.
Puneeth Rajkumar
Puneeth Rajkumar – an Indian film actor mostly works in Kannada cinema, playback singer and television presenter – was offered ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ but he rejected it.
