ISLAMABAD: About 95 percent work on the new Islamabad airport has been completed and it will be inaugurated as per schedule on August 14.
According to official sources, the new airport is estimated to serve 4,500 people at the same time which will improve air travel experience.
There are fifteen aircraft parking bays and the ability to dock two Airbus A-380 planes,making it the stand out air hub in the country. It will also have state-of-the-art facilities in cargo management, safety, security and passenger facilitation.
The airport will be linked with motorways, GT Road and metro bus project making it easily accessible for people in the region.
