A spokesman of Rangers said that on an intelligence report, the paramilitary force personnel conducted raid at a place on Kathore Road near Toll Plaza. Terrorists hiding at the place opened fire at the law enforcers. In retaliatory fire four terrorists were killed.
The four men died in the shootout identified as Mohammad Asif, Amir, Abdul Waseem and Younus. They were members of an outlawed group, Rangers spokesman said.
The slain accused were involved in terrorism, murders, extortion and other heinous crimes, spokesman further said.
A large quantity of arms and munitions also found from them.
