In his address with a reception given by Senator Aitzaz Ahsan, the PPP chairman said the politicians committee some mistakes in the past, but it doesn’t mean that democracy is wrong.
He stressed on the need to strengthen the parliament and democracy in the state.
“We should not repeat past mistakes,” he said, urging the parliament to support the government in its efforts to root out terrorism.
Earlier, he was warmly welcomed on arrival at the Senate.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari shook hands with representatives of all political parties in the Senate.
