KARACHI: Foreign exchange reserves have declined by $0.178 billion for the week ended on December 6, ARY News reported on Friday.
The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at $8.0604 billion for the week under review as compare to $8.238 billion on last week.
Remittances from Pakistanis abroad rose 6.27 per cent to $5.27 billion in July-Oct, the first four months of the 2013/14 fiscal year, from $4.96 billion in the same period last year.
State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) held $2.9631 billion out of total foreign reserves while $5.0973 billion reserves were held by other banks.
