KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) has rejected report submitted by the Karachi Development Authority (KDA) in a case relating to illegal allotment of 12 plots, ARY News reported on Tuesday.
The high court expressed outrage over the report presented by a KDA official and said that the authority was apparently wanted to save responsible persons in the case.
Provincial legislator Jam Khan Shoro and other accused have been produced while KDA official was also attending the hearing to present the detailed report of plots’ allotment.
As the hearing resumed today, the SHC judge questioned regarding the status of the plots.
The KDA official presented the report which drew severe outrage of the high court’s judge.

The court remarked that the authority wanted to secure the accused persons again as it did in past.
“We are rejecting this report. Now go, and call your DG KDA [Director General – Karachi Development Authority] to the court,” the court asked the official.
The court remarked that all of them were in nexus for looting people. “Keep this in your mind, it is not that time. If this continues, you will also get caught,” the court added.
The SHC directed to produce the DG KDA at 1:00 am and ordered to present the report in an appropriate procedure.
Later, the hearing was adjourned until 1:00 pm.
