ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Imran Khan’s chief of staff Shibli Faraz was shifted to a hospital after his health deteriorated in police custody, ARY News reported on Saturday.
Sources told ARY News that Shibli Faraz’s health deteriorated after police fired shells at the PTI workers – accompanying PTI Chairman Imran Khan – during the latter’s court appearance.
Earlier in the day, Inspector General (IG) Islamabad said that as a result of stone pelting several police personnel got injured. The enraged workers also put a police check post on fire.
He claimed that a few shells were dropped near Police personnel, and the policemen are looking into that.
In a separate statement, interior minister Rana Sanaullah said that Imran Khan was supposed to appear before the court at 3:30 pm but he didn’t appear yet.
He revealed that the CM Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan squad is also accompanying the PTI chairman Imran Khan to court.
Rana Sanaullah said that its unfortunate that Imran Khan is preparing an armed group in the name of politics.
He further said that the PTI chairman Imran Khan Will be arrested when the court orders to arrest him.
