LAHORE: The Airport Security Force (ASF) have taken famed TV actor Asad Malik in their custody on Monday from the Lahore airport for carrying automated weapon, ARY News reported.
Sources said license of the lethal weapon had expired.
ARY News correspondent Babar Khan said the ASF was further interrogating the television actor about the purpose of carrying weapon with him on the airport.
He said it was very concerning that why he was carrying firearm with him.
It should be noted that Asad Malik has already served a jail term in a case pertaining to murder of two persons, sources added. They said he had killed two people in Karachi by opening fire on a passenger bus.
The celebrity has often been seen flaunting his firearms in social media posts. He has worked in dozens of dramas.
