Algerian football team received warm welcome on their return from Brazil after participating in the 2014 World Cup.

Algeria , who had broken their own record by passing the knock-out stage into round of 16 game, in which they faced the mighty team of Germany.

The Algerian team played with confidence throughout the 90 minutes, denying the Germans a victory till extra time.The final result was 2-1 to Germany but the spectacular play of the Algerians won the admiration of many spectators, not least at home.
