Ali Haider approached for Hollywood flick!

The news is big as only a few select Pakistani’s have been offered the opportunity to act in a Hollywood film before.

According to sources, Ali Haider was contacted by a reputable Hollywood film making institute to play a central role in an upcoming film along with Hollywood star Anita. The rest of the cast from the film will also feature artists from within Pakistan as well as all over the world. Speaking to a private newspaper, Ali confirmed that he was approached to play a character in an upcoming Hollywood movie, which will be based on a real life story and two Hollywood stars will also feature in a central role alongside him. He stated that he had studied the plot of the film as well as the character he was asked to play yet he hadn’t signed the film as of yet. He also confirmed the fact that Pakistani artists will be cast in the movie along with artists from around the globe.

Ali is no stranger to acting in a film, however. After having an illustrious career in the music industry that established him as one of the most adorned pop idols of Pakistan, he acted in a Lollywood movie named Chalo Ishq Larain way back in 2002. Ali acted alongside prominent Pakistani actresses such as Meera and Zara Sheikh. The film was shot in various locations such as Karachi, Muzaffarabad, Dubai and Toronto.

Ali Haider’s association with a Hollywood flick will prove to be welcome news for his broad fan base within Pakistan. His song Purani Jeans reached skyrocketing popularity and made him a household name within Pakistan as well as neighboring India. Let’s hope things get rolling soon and we get to see Ali  putting on one hell of a show in a Hollywood flick soon enough!
