All you need to know about WhatsApp 'cheat codes'

The instant messaging app WhatsApp has rolled out shortcut keys for Mac and Window users.

These shortcut keys being called “cheat codes” can be used on Windows and Mac. WhatsApp shared these codes on Twitter with the caption, “Final Boss Mode: Unblocked”.

The shortcut keys allow users to explore a wide range of options such as unrolling the message, opening a new chat window, muting chatting or searching in a chat list.

The shortcuts, depending on the operating system and type of application of the user, vary. WhatsApp, therefore, has created four different categories of cheat codes, including Mac desktop app, Mac browser, Windows desktop app, and Windows browser version.
