Amazon CEO becomes 3rd richest man behind Gates, Ortega

Bezos, with a net worth of $65.1 billion, overtook Chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway Warren Buffet who has a net worth of $65.0 billion.

Owner of Microsoft Bill Gates tops the list of the richest persons in the world with net worth of $89.1 billion followed by Chairman of the Inditex fashion group Amancio Ortega ($73.4 billion).

Chief Executive Officer Charles Koch along with David Koch of Koch Industries were at fifth and sixth place respectively with net worth of $55.3 billion each.

Carlos Slim, owner of Grupo Carso, stood at seventh place with net worth of $52.6 billion followed by the founder of social media Facebook.com Mark Zuckerberg ($52.1 billion) at eighth position.

Co-founder of Oracle Corporation Larry Ellison was placed at No. 9 in the list with net worth of $43.6 billion whereas Founder of IKEA Ingvar Kamprad was at tenth spot with net worth of $43.5 billion.
