Accused Mustafa Kanju, a son of former state minister Siddique Kanju, allegedly opened fire in Cavalry Ground area of Lahore, killing a youth Zain and leaving another pedestrian injured.
The court indicted Mustafa Kanju and four other accused Asif, Sadiq, Sadullah and Akram in the case.
A witness Fahad Sohail in his statement today informed the court that he was not present during the incident and could not identify the man who opened fire and killed the youth.
Earlier, the complainant of the case Sohail Afzal and 12 other witnesses have retracted from their earlier statements they had given to the police.
