The cart holders protested against the operations and blocked the road by burning tires.
The law enforcement agencies called further contingents to the side and dispersed the protesters.
The protesters alleged that the administration allows them to set up their stalls after they greased their palms.
“Now they are targeting us thus affecting our livelihoods”, they stated.
