The festival aims at promoting cinema in Pakistan and introducing talented filmmakers and actors from different parts of the world to this region.
ARY Digital Network is engaged in steering the bandwagon in the right direction after holding the biggest film festival of Pakistan earlier this year.
The submission is currently open for feature films, short movies, documentary short and feature films till November 30, 2017.

The festival intends to provide a vital platform for the youth and film-making enthusiast to come together and celebrate their passion for the art form, creating an opportunity to set-up a forum where renowned names from the film and media industry will be able to share their knowledge with the participants.
In May, there were as many as 400 films received from various countries around the world including Pakistan, India, USA, UK, Canada, Germany, India, Malaysia Brazil, Russia, Australia, Ireland, Bahrain, Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia.
More than 80 international films were received out of which a total of 35 films were screened, which indeed deemed as an auspicious mark for the first year of any festival. The festival screened films in four categories: Short Film, Feature Film, Short Documentary and Feature Documentary.
The event was attended by the top celebrities and personalities of the media and film industry. Amazing performances by Sheema Kirmani, Sanam Marvi and Hamza Qawwal along with a stand-up comedy act by the social media star Danish Ali.
The festival also came up with special screenings of internationally acclaimed films such as Maheen Zia’s ‘Lyari Notes’, ‘Brave Heart: The Lizzie Velazquez Story’ contributed by the American Film Showcase and Anjum Shehzad’s ‘Mah e Mir’.
Additionally, academy award winner Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy’s ‘Song of Lahore’ was also premiered at the festival.
Award for Best Story Feature Film was given to ‘Choora Ek Pratha’ and Best Short Film (Silver Category) to ‘Amrita & I’, both were screened in collaboration with Delhi International Film Festival.
