ARY News obtains JIT report of jailed LeT member

According to the investigation report, the suspect along with his accomplices, killed DSP Jail Abdul Razzaq in October 2012. In July 2012, Hafiz Qasim attacked DSP Israr Awan near Jamshed Quarters and wounded him severely. In 2012 the suspect killed political workers Farooq, Nihal and Noor-ul-Huda at Orangi Town with the help of his accomplices Danish Chota, Adnan and Jafar. In 2010 he had, along with accomplice Wasim Baroodi, committed the murder of Dr Hussain in Ferozabad. In 2011, he had committed the murder of the chief of Sajjadia Scouts Naiyyar Abbasi.

Hafiz Qasim was arrested by authorities in 2012. Security sources revealed that many of his accomplices had been granted bail by the courts. The suspect is running a terrorist network from prison since his accomplices who had been set free by the courts are involved in target killings.
