Big Ant Studios, Australia’s premier sports video game developer, has today announced the release date of their most popular game, Ashes Cricket, on PC.
This was something cricket fans were waiting for since the launch of the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One last month.
“We’re very pleased to announce that Ashes Cricket, lauded as the best cricket game of all time, will be available on PC via Steam from December 16,” reads a statement issued by the developer.
The game, fully licensed to this year’s Ashes Cricket competition, includes photo-realistic renders of both the English and Australian Ashes squads, for both the men’s and women’s teams.
” The PC version has all the features of the console game, and players will be able to access any shared content created on either the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 version. Additionally, the version that will be launched has all patches that we’ve released to console to date,” Big Ant Studies.
With photo-realistic players, motion capture, ‘Ashes Cricket’ was labelled as the most authentic and realistic cricket game ever made.
Players can bring all the fast-paced action, big hits and skill that they see in the greatest cricket competition on earth, in both a more realistic and authentic way than ever before.
This comes just around the men’s and women’s 2017/2018 Ashes tours are round the corner, allowing players to bathe in the glory of their team.
Ashes Cricket presents official photorealistic likenesses, courtesy Big Ant’s unique photogrammetry technology, for all Australian and English men’s and women’s teams – making players feel like they’re right there at the live game.
Test cricketers have been fully motion-captured and players can choose their own batting or bowling style to make the game as their own.
Big Ant’s most detailed and refined cricket engine to date allows for true 360-degree batting. No two players will play the game the same way.
