Ashiana Housing scam: Nishat Chunian Ltd CEO appears before NAB

LAHORE: Shahzad Saleem the chief executive officer (CEO) of Nishat Chunian Limited, appeared before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) today to record his statement in Ashiana Housing Scheme case.

In the light of the statement of former principal secretary of the prime minister, Fawad Hasan Fawad,  Shahzad Saleem was summoned before the anti-graft watchdog to record his statement and was asked to bring all relevant documents along.

NAB took Fawad Hassan Fawad into custody on July 5, in connection with three graft cases.

Three corruption cases against former premier Nawaz Sharif’s principal secretary include Ashiana Housing Scheme, illegal employment in a private bank and unlawful transfer of nine CNG stations.

Fawad has served as the principal secretary of two former prime ministers, Nawaz Sharif and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

It is worth mentioning that former director general Land Development Authority (LDA) Ahad Cheema is also accused in Ashiana Housing Scheme case.
