QUETTA: A National Party member of the Balochistan Assembly Hendry Masih was shot dead in Quetta on Saturday, ARY News reported.
Hendry Masih, a minority representative, was attacked in front of his residence in Quetta.
Balochistan government’s spokesman Jan Mohammad Buledi has confirmed the incident. He said Masih was taken to a hospital in critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries.
According to reports the lawmaker was shot by his security guard who has been detained by the police.
A nephew of Hendry Masih was also injured in the attack and admitted in hospital.
