Benazir murder case: Rehman Malik failed to appear in court

Prosecution witness SSP special branch Islamabad Waqar Chohan was cross-examined during hearing of the special court.

Judge Rai Mohammad Ayub Khan adjourned the hearing till next date on Feb 15, after completion of the cross-examination.

Senior police officers Saud Aziz, Khurram Shahzad and counsels of defence and prosecution were present in the hearing.

Former interior minister Rehman Malik could not appear in the court hearing today. The court was informed that Malik was absent as he was attending the ongoing Senate session.

The court ordered the People’s Party Senator to appear before the court in the next hearing.
