While talking to ARY News host Maria Memon in Off The Record, Adviser to Chief Minister Sindh on Media Affairs Moula Bux Chandio said if PPP won it would not be a one-off event. PPP has won on this before as well.
While, Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui was not boisterous of MQM’s victory today unlike his other co-leaders.
“In this specific constituency, 60 percent voters are of MQM and 40 percent are of PPP,” he said.
Hinting towards MQM’s defeat, he said MQM voters could not come out of their houses for they were harassed by ‘state terrorists’.
He said MQM workers were attacked to restrain them from voting.
To a query, he said the attackers were not from PPP, but from some other party.
Chandio appreciated his stance and said the elections were fair and no rigging took place in the constituency.
