According to police, killer Ahmed had confessed to murdering his mother over a domestic issue. Police have arrested him after the crime.
They said the boy pulled out a pistol following some argument with his mother and shot her dead. The body had been moved to morgue.
Further investigation is underway.
On Feb 18, a senior joint director of the State Bank of Pakistan murdered his mother in Clifton over some domestic dispute.
Ghulam Rabbani, an officer in grade-19, had stabbed his mother, Naseem Akhter, to death inside their apartment in Clifton Block-4 near the shrine of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi.
