Earlier in the day, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi had disclosed that India was once again planning military action against Pakistan.
“An incident similar to Pulwama could recur in the occupied Kashmir valley,” he had said, adding the purpose of this sinister plan was to build diplomatic pressure on Pakistan and justify Indian military action.
Qureshi had said keeping in view these facts, the Foreign Office had decided right away to hold a meeting of the ambassadors of the P-5 counties (UN Security Council’s five permanent members) and briefed them on Pakistan’s concerns about the possible Indian aggression.
