CHINIOT: Goods worth millions of rupees were reduced to ashes after unknown men set a general store on fire in Chiniot, ARY News reported on Saturday.
Unknown culprits in an arson attack set the shop at Jhang Road in Chiniot on fire, due to which items worth millions of rupees in the shop were gutted.
The burnt items included groceries and toys for children.
Rescue and fire-fighting teams arrived at the scene after being informed of the fire. The firemen succeeded to extinguish the fire after an hour long fire fighting operation.
Police has started the investigation of the incident on the complaint lodged by the shop owner Khizar Hayat.
