Driving license aspirants get new update in Pakistan

LAHORE: The Punjab government has introduced a new facility allowing citizens to apply for learner’s driving licenses at 15 Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) service centers, ARY News reported.
For information, the learner’s license is issued on the spot and remains valid for six months, helping citizens practice driving safely and build confidence.

Citizens all across Punjab can now renew their licenses from the comfort of their homes without visiting license centers in the province.
The entire system transitioned online following the integration of licensing services into the Dastak app. Through this app, applicants can register their data, upload required documents, pay the fees, and track the delivery of their driving licenses.
