A spokesman for the CM House said the law and order situation in Sindh particularly Karachi came under discussion at the meeting. The two figures discussed kidnapping of Owais Shah, son of CJ SHC Sajjad Ali Shah.
The CM and the corps commander agreed upon sharing information with all security agencies pertaining to Owais Shah and to ensure his safe recovery.
Earlier in the day, DG Rangers, Major General Bilal Akbar also met the CJ Sajjad Ali Shah and assured him of early recovery of his son. He told Justice Shah that the law enforcement and security agencies are making all possible efforts to recover Owais Shah.
Owais Shah was kidnapped from outside a superstore in Clifton Monday afternoon by unknown men, who impersonated themselves as cops by wearing police caps.
The atmosphere of peace and harmony in Karachi has been marred by Monday’s kidnapping of Owais Shah and then the assassination of renowned Qawwal Amjad Sabri in broad daylight today in Liaquatabad.
With these back-to-back incidents targeting high-profile figures, the provincial government has been under enormous pressure from various corners of society.
The law enforcers are on a hunt for the culprits of both the incidents and have been conducted raids across the megapolis.
